1. National Museums of Ireland

2. OPW Heritage sites
Free entry Nov 8th / Always free for children Under 12
Most OPW Heritage sites around Ireland offer free entry the first Wednesday of every month. Take advantage of this deal for a fun afternoon activity after school! Or visit at the weekend, with all under 12s visiting for free! Visit a castle, Gledalough Visitor Centre or any number of historical parts of the country!

3. Wild Lights
Dublin Zoo Nov 3 – Jan 7th
Dublin Zoo’s latest experience is Wild Lights, a night time trail of beautifully crafted, giant colourful lanterns inspired by wildlife. Open every night from 5pm – 9pm this really is a must see for the whole family!
4.Listowel Food Fair
Listowel, Nov 9-12.
Listowels Food Fair celebrates it’s 23rd year this November, with a full schedule of events for the whole family including their famous food market, a baking workshop for children, food trail, craft fair , edible landscape art exhibition and lots more. 5.Yarn Story Telling festival
Bray, Nov 11-19.

6. Patterns of Light
Waterford ,Nov 24 – 26
If you’re brave enough to get out in the elements the 2017 Pattern of Light Festival takes place from Friday November 24th to Sunday 26th and sees the transformation by light of the iconic William Vincent Wallace plaza on the south-east end of the Waterford Quay front. Visitors to the installation will be given the opportunity to create their own unique pattern of light on the underside of the plaza canopy.
